Attorney Dana Duffey began her legal career working as a legal assistant while simultaneously completing her Juris Doctor at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. The experience she gained in this role helped keep her focused on her studies and solidified her passion for a law-related career.
She has become known throughout Texas legal circles as an innovative attorney who uses creative methods to negotiate and mediate cases to the benefit of her clients. Attorney Duffey understands that every case is unique, and so the way to reach its best conclusion must also be crafted specifically to each situation.
Today, Attorney Duffey actively practices in a variety of legal fields, including criminal defense, family law, employment law, contract law, and estate planning law. As a member of Mathur Law Offices, P.C. in Dallas, she is able to lend her experience, insight, and knowledge to a number of cases. Attorney Dana Duffey has served as a Court Appointed Mediator per the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. Meditation is a prime opportunity to resolve a client’s disputes without the need to go to court. Although, she has also acted as lead counsel for hundreds of cases that went to court, as well as fulfilling co-counsel and litigation support roles.
Other experiences she has had in her legal career include being a moot court judge and a mock trial judge for collegiate, graduates, and high school students. With her experience acting as these judges and background in child welfare law, Attorney Duffey proudly does all she can to help uplift and protect the youth of Texas.
